This event definitely needs our volunteers! If I was not going to be at the Trial Des Nations I would be here! Please show our support and give back to the people that helped make our national a success!

Steve,

Thanks for the info! Is there any other FIM-NA events this year? Was Oregon a two day FIM-NA championship?

Thanks again,

Daniel Blanc-Gonnet

I just wanted to thank everyone for a wonderful weekend full of action and fun! The club came together to pull off a great national that was well attended and well organized! A special thanks to the observers for being out there even with the extended time limit for the riders!

Hopefully this is just the start of our club being a regular in the national season and who knows... maybe a world round someday.

Thanks again,

Daniel Blanc-Gonnet

Yet another work day this coming Saturday, May 7th! 10AM Sharp at the Diamond Mill parking lot. Make sure to go over by the trials area as the nice weather means a lot of other campers! We had a great turn out last week, many thanks to Paul Endres, The Krahels, Max Nelson, and Dick Beardsley for clearing!

Hey everyone,

Just as an FYI some of us will be out at Diamond Mill this Saturday (04/23/16) clearing sections for the national! We need help so please bring tools and whatever else you need to pull out ferns, trim trees, and move some dirt (We will have some extra tools as well). Meet in the Diamond Mill OHV parking lot at 10AM sharp because it'll be hard to find us later in the day!

Thank you,

Daniel Blanc-Gonnet

27  General Category / General Discussion / National Work Weekend! on: February 29, 2016, 01:01:26 pm
Hey everyone,

I'm planning on having our first-of-many work weekends for the national on the Saturday and Sunday of March 12th and 13th up at the Diamond Mill OHV staging area. I should be up there around 10AM Saturday and will camp out to Sunday. We will focus most of our effort on Ishy's creek that weekend as the snow melt left it in bad condition. It will be a very relaxed and fun work party as we can clear brush and move rocks for a few hours and then ride the sections in for a few hours all weekend! If you have chainsaws, brush cutters, grub hoe's, etc please bring them! Also for those interested in seeing the loop and section areas for the national please come on out! If you have any questions or want directions please feel free to contact me at dblancgonnet@gmail.com.

Thanks!

29  General Category / General Discussion / COTA Website on: February 13, 2016, 02:25:46 pm
Hey everyone,

I have been trying to organize and clean up the website a little bit so if you have any additional suggestions let me know! The "contact me" form has been down for some time but I believe it has been resolved.

I also added a tab on the main page for our upcoming national to access the latest information so make sure to check that often as I will be updating it whenever I get new information.

Thank you!

Daniel
30  General Category / General Discussion / 2015 COTA Banquet Notes on: January 19, 2016, 03:20:25 am
Hey everyone,

For those of you who could not attend the 2015 COTA awards banquet here are some quick notes of changes and improvements for the coming 2016 year...

-Jay Lael is now the official keeper of the trials supply box. Many thanks to Ken Levens for his many years as keeper of the supply box! Future trials marshalls will now contact Jay Lael for trials event supplies.
-Daniel Blanc-Gonnet is now the secretary for COTA in charge of scoring and website. Many thanks to Max for his many years in the job!
-The Expert Sportsman class definition has received some revisions.

As for the 2016 National, we had many people step up and take on roles for the event which is much appreciated!
-Didier Blanc-Gonnet is in charge of administration for the event.
-Paul Endres is in charge of the rider and minder loop for the event.
-Dave Wersch is in charge of the flyer and T-shirts for the event.
-Mike Wirth is in charge of the awards for the event.
-Paul Neff is in charge of observers for the event. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO OBSERVE CONTACT PAUL NEFF.
-Dick Beardsley is in charge of spectator loop for the event.

We still need someone to take over the following tasks:
-Sponsor Leader
-Paddock area leader
-Section Leader
Please contact me if at all interested in one of the above tasks or just to help out in general!

Thank you,

Daniel Blanc-Gonnet
