Great Trial today John!  Thank you VERY much for hosting the event!

I would like to propose we name your water sections "YooHoo Creek" as these bottles haunted me at the store after the Trial!  LOL!
17  General Category / Events / Cedar Creek Group Ride Was Awesome! on: September 28, 2014, 11:22:23 am
I'd like to give a huge "atta boy" to Paul Endres for hosting a fantastic day of riding Saturday, September 28th, at Cedar Creek!  Paul and crew did an absolute TON of work discovering and setting up lots of new sections!

The sections were incredibly fun!  The loop was awesome!  The weather was perfect!  To top it off, after the group ride, Paul had hot dogs, homemade chili, cole slaw, chips, and drinks for everyone!  All and all, a great ride and a lot of fun!

Also, a big shout out to Jay Terry, Jay Lael, and David Wertsch for an awesome day of group check!  It was really fun riding with you guys!

Thanks to Ishy for putting on a great trial today!  I had a fantastic time riding at Chez Isherwood.

The sections were super fun and there were lots of laughs from the group check lunatics I rode with at the trial!   Shocked
21  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Scottish Fundraiser Trial & Playday - April 19th & 20th on: April 11, 2014, 11:10:47 am
Hey Mike,
There won't be a standard "COTA" flyer available for this event.

The Scottish Fundraiser Trial is not a COTA event.  No COTA Championship points will be awarded for participation.

I've gone green Dave!  The only thing I'm missing from a 2013 Kawi is launch control!  LOL!

Wish you could of made it up for the Dabber.  It would have been great to see you!
27  General Category / General Discussion / Re: New throttle options on: July 29, 2013, 12:27:46 pm
Wow!  I'm jealous!  I could have used some of those settings yesterday at Karey's trial!  Especially anything that would have exploded all the rocks out of the creek in Section 3!

John,
Thank you for hosting a fantastic trial!  I'm in awe at the sheer amount of work you've done to your place to make it event ready!  Job well done!

I had a great time riding some really fun technical sections today!  Now if I could just clean Section 1 one time I'd be happy!  LOL!

PS - My score would have been lower if Jack would stop turning my idle down when I'm not looking!   Wink

Can't wait to check out your new property John!  Looking forward to it!
30  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Did You Know? on: April 16, 2013, 02:56:40 pm
Just a quick update.  We spoke to ODF today.  Here's the latest information.

All riders 61 years old and younger will need to have carry the state issued ATV Safety Education Card with you at all times while you are riding ODF public lands with the exception of COTA members only on the actual day of a scheduled event, such as the upcoming COTA Diamond Mill trial on Sunday, 04/28/13.  However, if you are going to ride up there on the Saturday before you will need to have the Safety Education Card on your person or risk receiving a fine.

I believe the fine is $110.00 per occurrence.  That will add up in a hurry!  Forewarned is forearmed!
