As you have noticed, or not, I haven't been around much and probably won't be, so the club will need to find someone else to obtain the awards and some where else to purchase them since the person I have been using for the last 25 years is retiring also this month. If whoever is shanghaied into the position would like, I have all the art work in publisher that I have used in the past, or you can start new, I could put it on a cd. It was fun for 49 years.

actually, Ishy has a great offer since 80% of trials is being in good condition and hand eye co-ordination is very important, don't want to wack your foot with a maul since in a section you want to look further ahead of your front wheel anyway. Then after you are in great shape you can ride on my Free logs in your back yard.

I have several logs that would make good practice trials logs for a season or two, then use them for fire wood. They are 18 to 24 inch diameter by 6 1/2 feet long, see pic. These are free and I can load on your trailer or truck. Sorry the pics wouldn't up load to this site. I can send them to you if you call. mike wirth 503 663 5795

I have had several new people contact me for directions to the Diamond Mill trial, as to the start times and directions, I gave them directions and normal start times but the official flier would help.

As was finalized at the year end meeting the award tags will be generic, not having the event name or date, so as to save some money when the class does not have a full compliment. I have had made up six sets, first is gold, second is silver and third is bronze, the remainder of the sets will be ordered later in the season. TRIALS MARSHAL, after the event is over please return all unused tags to the person in charge of the tags, including tags of people receiving awards who left early, the person can request them at a later date if they care to. All the unused tags can then be reused. If an event is going to have a Kids Trial please contact me several weeks in advance so we can have made finisher awards, I currently still have some available but may need to increase the supply. If a Trials Marshal elects to have custom awards made this should be cleared with the executive members several weeks prior to the event.

Well I think that 125 will make your year and you will feel more confident on it . I remember earlier this decade when Ishy rode a 125 Sherco to a class win in the Scottish Six Day, and that is what Daniel rode to start his international career.
