The results from Saturday August 1.

Since there aren't many new posts on here, I thought I would go ahead and post a photo of my hand made trials bike. It's based on a 2003 Sherco, combined with a 1977 Hodaka 125 top end on a 1974 Hodaka Wombat 125 lower end. It uses a Dellorto carb, and points and condenser ignition, with a one inch thick flywheel weight added.

Dave: Have you ever seen so many dnfs in a local trial? I hope these guys come back. Not everyone enjoys trials that difficult. For some sick reason I LOVE them this hard, even though my performance wasn't as good as I would have liked. It's still super fun anyway.

I heard all about your crash at Diamond Mill on Sunday of the national. I hope you healed up ok. Us older guys don't heal up that quick as you know. Glad to hear you're still going for it anyway. Me too, I mean in general, it's the only thing to do. I think these days there are very few guys around who used to ride at Tiger Canyon English trials.

Dave Pyle, The last event at Sweeten's was pretty tough! Check out these results. Our lad Clarence has risen to a new level, and is pretty dominant, since he gave up sugar and hamburgers. Not sure it's worth it, but it obviously has worked.

Dear Learning but need help. I think you were talking to me. I have taught trials schools a few times in the past. Somewhere I have a few dvds of me teaching trials classes. I will try and locate them and get a few copies made. I am told they were very helpful.
 It has been an incredibly hectic summer both in the auto repair business, and in the pursuit of my assorted motorcycle fun.
I will be heading to Dallesport at my earliest convenience to work on the trials event there. I look forward to camping, as this is usually the last camping weekend of the year for us.
 I have a pretty demanding job, so it's hard to make time. I really want to do the trials school, but it hasn't been in the cards so far. Please be patient, and maybe we can set aside a rainy day out at Diamond Mill sometime after the last trial at Dallesport.
Hit me up and we'll figure something out.

Some details, rider friendly sections for vintage event. New this year special "Pre-65" class. Nice awards, an Observed trial (both vintage and Modern). Great BBQ featuring a pig roast. Campers welcome, great access to sections for spectators. This is the oldest trials event in the Pacific Northwest and at 39 years straight one of the oldest in the USA I am sure.

I will be working on the course for the next two Sundays, any riders are welcome to come and  ride the loop and "preview'  the event. Anyone would like to "adopt" a section I would consider the help! If we get a few rider out this Sunday I will burn some hot-dogs for em!

We're planning on heading out to Dallesport this coming Sunday, to begin work on our trials event. If anyone wants to help, you'd be more than welcome! Weather should be on the warm side, but hopefully not too bad. See you out there if you can make it.

My niece, Tara is getting married, and of course she chose the same day as our trials event. If possible, please let's change the date to accommodate my niece and her fiancé.  Thank you for understanding this couldn't be helped.  I just can't miss her wedding.
