Not for me! I can't outride my old Bultaco!

For my brother, he's currently thrashing his old Montesa 247 and regularly beating guys on modern bikes. He needs a newer trials bike to really do some whooping.

Unfortunately his budget is modest (about $1500). He'd really like a newer Montesa (i.e. mono-shock) but I don't know what those go for.

What do you guys have?

A great ride today! I apologize to all the checkers for being the last one thru. I would have done the last section but there was a huge crowd and I didn't feel like eating one of the boulders in front of them. I can't wait to embarrass myself again next year!
