1  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Trail ride and survey at Lolo Pass Sunday 7-3-11 on: June 29, 2011, 05:16:26 pm
Hey Guys and Gals,
Keith and I are heading for Lolo Pass on Sunday July 3rd.  Should be there around 9:00.  Will be riding the trails surveying for damage or fall from the winter, probably a little trail pruning also.
If you have not been there, the map or directions from Hood River and Zig Zag have been posted or forwarded to the events category.

2  General Category / General Discussion / Riding New stuff at Lolo Pass Saturday 7-23-11 on: June 15, 2011, 11:22:36 am
Keith and I will be headed for Lolo Pass this Saturday.  Should arrive on site around 9:30.  We have trimmed almost all Sunday loop and limbed an added area at Land of the Giants. We've spotted 2 other section areas that we will be thinking about. We're ready to start throwing some ribbon. Probably won't hang any quite yet.  Come on out if you like.
See ya there Kent Z
3  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Moving up or down classes during on season on: June 15, 2011, 11:16:57 am
It sounds like Ishey hit the point, at least as far as PNTA and COTA.  The PNTA series and the COTA series are different and maybe the club shouldn't be trying to tie them together sharing points or designating a PNTA event as a COTA points event.  The PNTA has many more classes than our local events and almost all riders seem to back off a class or move down to an in between class.

4  General Category / Events / Info for the 2-day at Lolo Pass on: June 15, 2011, 10:36:05 am
Keith and I will be headed for Lolo Pass this Saturday.  We'll be traveling the Gorge route in from Hood River.  Should be there around 9:30.  We'll mainly be working on the trail system and surveying the changes to the area after the melt off.  Come on over, it's a great time of the year to be able to see off the trail and find undiscovered section material.
I have attached the trials info below.  Please call me and let me know if it is usable in this format.  This event is listed as the 4th and 5th points rounds.  It is not very clear on our events calendar how many and which is which.
Thanks see ya

5  General Category / General Discussion / Lolo Pass July 18th on: July 13, 2010, 11:58:47 am
The Trial is on the ground and ready. We have a fun easy loop with some fun and low impact sections for the AM and PM.
In the past 2.5 month's that Keith and I have been up to the pass, we've not had to wear any rain gear even for trail busting. The rain and moisture has always stopped just out of Zig Zag. It's been a nice season this year for working on the event.
Is anyone coming to the event this year? Last year we had about 18 riders. This makes it hard to cover the toilets, trophy tags, insurance and the permit.
Keith will be there on Saturday. Come on up and check out the loops.

Here is the info for Lolo Pass #1 3rd points event.
I have this in a poster form that I will email to the web master. Need email address. The email poster from last year would work with a couple of changes.
My email address is kz@accesselectric.biz
I can attach and forward the formatted copy if that helps.
The loop and section areas are cleared. All that's left is ribboning sections. Keith and I will be returning to the Pass on Saturday the July 3rd. If anyone would like to come up and help layout and ribbon sections, we'll see you there.
Thanks Kent
