The 2017 COTA year end event is this coming Saturday, January 13th at 6:00 PM at Flying Pie Pizzeria, 7804 SE Stark Street, Portland, OR 97215.

We'll award the winners of the 2017 COTA Championship as well as start plans for the 2018 COTA season and events. 

I hope to see everyone Saturday for some New Year’s bench racing and pizza.   

A big thanks to Brian Clarke for doing a fantastic job as the COTA club president again this year!  We appreciate you very much Brian!

A big thank you to Duane and Sue Rinkes! Thank you for hosting the trial on your property today!  It was truly a fun event!  Awesome sections to challenge all, shared with great friends, and finished off with terrific food! A super fun day indeed!

Even though Sue is trying to keep us all healthy with Turkey instead of Beef in the sloppy joes, they were as tasty as ever!  I truly appreciate the hospitality showed to all of us!

I'd like to give a huge "atta boy" to Paul Endres for hosting a fantastic day of riding Sunday, July 3rd, at Cedar Creek!  Paul did a tremendous job reclaiming sections on short notice on top of his recent Herculean effort to cut loop trails and sections for the recent Diamond Mill National! 

The sections were incredibly fun!  The loop was awesome!  The weather was perfect!  To top it off, after the group ride, Paul had hot dogs, burgers, cole slaw, awesome potato salad, chips, and lemonade for everyone!  All and all, a great ride and a lot of fun!

Also, a big shout out to Brian Clarke and Ken Levens for an awesome day of group check!  It was really fun riding with you guys!

Thank you Ishy for putting on an awesome trial today!  The sections were great!  Every loop the sections changed a little in the way they rode.  I went from zero to hero to zero to hero on some of the same sections!  LOL!

I had a blast riding with Jay Lael, Jay Terry, and Ken Levens today!  What a great way to spend a late December Sunday!

A HUGE thanks to Duane for putting on a fantastic trial today!  The sections were terrific, the weather was picture perfect, and the Rinkes' hospitably was in full effect.  A fun time was had by all!

A special thanks to Sue Rinkes for providing a great Sloppy Joe feed after the trial for all participants with all the fixings, desserts, drinks etc.  I don't know how you beat a Sunday like this one!
