Do any of you experienced trial riders know of a good shop that can do cable work for my -A?
Need a new throttle (w/autolube) cable and a front brake cable.
Also, know of a good carb rebuild kit supplier out there?

The header of my TY is in poor condition on my restore project bike. B&J Racing have a stainless pipe I am considering, but I am not too keen on the way it fastens to the rest of the exhaust (cut and silicone joint). To keep the bike looking original I wonder if any of you know of a good exhaust welder in the Portland Oregon area that can do quality work to splice a new header to the existing system? Perhaps even welding stainless to steel.

My bike came with a tank of gas and oil in its Autolube. I have never owned a 2 cycle and was wondering what works best for the type of gas, and the oil for the Autolube, and whether also premixing oil in the tank is a good idea?
Is it advisable to use an octane booster in the gas?

Hello from Portland OR. I am awaiting the delivery of my first bike ever. It is, a Yamaha TY 250 arriving any day from MT.
 Since a youngster I was always impressed by the TY series. So now.. Anyway I am looking forward to this resource. First order is a new trials helmet.
Please let me know of a good place in the NW that carries trials gear.
