2015 Timber sale in Tillamook

Dave Hiatt sent these sale area maps to several in the club. We should take a look at them and let him know some of the areas we need to mark as a trail or designated sections as in his letter below. If you would like me to send these to you let me know. The two areas I think are of concern are, Diamond Town and Gilmore.

This is the second of two emails you are receiving requesting your assistance as the entire map package might have been too large for your mail box so approximately half of the maps are in each email.

Please take a look at the attached pdf files displaying maps of the proposed 2015 timber sales in areas zoned for OHV recreation. I need information on any trails not currently displayed in those areas if you want them protected or restored after the sale is complete. I cannot protect or restore something I do not know exists.

Feel free to review these maps with your on-the-ground knowledgeable riding friends who may not be on my email list so we gather as much information as we can.

The best way to get additional trail information to me is to mark up these maps and email a copy back to me. However, I will accept any input I can get that is based on first hand OHV user on-the-ground knowledge.

Please draw in any OHV trails you know about (even trials areas or trials trails) that are in a proposed sale but are not displayed on the attached maps, and inform me as to what you think should be done before, during and after the timber sale.
