The header of my TY is in poor condition on my restore project bike. B&J Racing have a stainless pipe I am considering, but I am not too keen on the way it fastens to the rest of the exhaust (cut and silicone joint). To keep the bike looking original I wonder if any of you know of a good exhaust welder in the Portland Oregon area that can do quality work to splice a new header to the existing system? Perhaps even welding stainless to steel.

Thanks

Pacific Crest Pipe Repair .com
They may be able to help.

I have had stainless pipe repaired by them with good results but you'll have to check with them on the TY pipe.
