I'm in PDX and I just got a beta rev3 270. Needs a new rear spring and gear oil. Looks like ATF in it now, but manual calls for 20w40. Any idea where to get parts and what oil to use in tranny?

Hi Cody,

Do you know which rear shock you have? I am a dealer for Sherco/Scorpa and may be able to get or have the spring you need. As for oil, ATF is acceptable but I would suggest going to your local motorcycle store and finding motorcycle purpose transmission oil. For example, I use Maxima MTL 75W 2 cycle transmission lube and have never had an issue.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you,

Cody,

Sorry no luck on the spring... I would look at this website:

http://www.betausa.com/content/support

find the part you need and call beta USA to order the new spring!
